Logo Development

About the Designer Molly Danforth is a freelance graphic designer with Lotus Design, llc in St. Louis. She has been working as a designer for the past five years and enjoys designing anything from logos to social invitations.

About the Logo Sam Fiorello created the original logo for upstream theater and Molly Danforth transformed his idea into what you see today. The Upstream Theater logo was designed with the city of St. Louis in mind, by incorporating an Arch. The logo creates a sense of motion with the swooping arched line and also uses an arrow to graphically display the "up" in "upstream". Several iterations of Sam's original concepts are shown below.
